    CD-RW Recording Tab Missing In Properties

    hi

    hoping tyo get some help with this problem:

    i cant successfully right click on a file and send it to cd burner. i understand there should be a CD-RW Recording Tab , which on my system, is missing In Properties for that drive. Therefore i can not turn it on.

    Hi qaz, to burn a CD-RW, put the CD in the tray, click on it then drag the files you want to burn.

    i forgot to say the error i get is: d drive not available m incorrect function

    Hi again Mark, did you succeed in me telling you the obvious ?. As to if you could do that, your very welcome here whether you can or not.
    Please note, the regular members do get a lot of questions that are hard to interperate at first, and reply just as often in the same gobbldegook. ( well most of them )

    You may need to delete your filters for the CD drive. See How to delete upper & lower filters in XP.

    If you are following the steps in the last KB article to which I linked the answer is NO. If the drive is not recognized as recordable then there won't be a recording tab.
