Looking for either a better way to manage iTunes or a good replacement.

I've used iTunes for a while now and I love the way it organized my Music and I love the whole playlist system, the DJ, and the search system. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to make iTunes have a local playlist and share it with other user Accounts. Here's my situation: There are 3 computers in my house and two of those computers have 3 accounts on them. I want each computer to have a copy of all the music and each account on those computers to share the main playlist (library or whatever it's called). The alternative I know of is to delete the library each time I want to update it and recopy all the music over then copy the master playlist file.

I do have the music on each computer in a sharable location (a seperate data partition on two of them and a C:\Media folder on one) so if it's possible to just copy the User\Music\iTunes folder from one computer to another and accross the accounts I could set that up.

I'd be willing to switch to another program altogether so long as I can maintain the features I like from iTunes (though I myself will still have to keep iTunes to access the iTunes store).
Current Machine:HP Compaq 6910p with 4GB RAM, Core2Duo @ 2.20 GHz, Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family, Avast free, Malwarebyte's free, TP-Link wireless card (as the built in card has nothing but problems with empty solutions): The card identifies as "Atheros AR922X Wireless Network Adapter". [Not the best machine but it does internet, docs, and vids, and some games (PvZ, Spore)]

I use MediaMonkey for all my media needs. You can store the data anywhere, even on the network. The free version does everything you'll need.

    cheers, Paul

I tried MediaMonkey but it didn't quite work the way I wanted. I did find another software though that seems to be working called iTunes Library Updater [http://itlu.ownz.ch/wordpress/?page_id=2]. I'm still testing this but if it works how I think it does I can combine it with SyncToy to keep all my libraries up to date. The only potential flaw is that it doesn't seem to have been updated in a while.

While writing this post the program finished and it seems to have added a few files to my library that somehow went missing before.
