    Restoring an image

If I have a hard drive failure, can I restore my image onto a new hard drive? What constraints are there to restoring images? (BTW great Fred Langa article on the backup stuff included in Win 7). Many thanks for any help...

Yes, none. You would insert your Rescue Disk (you made the Rescue Disk for your Imaging app right), reboot to the Rescue Disk (have to set Bios to check if a optical media is in before booting to HD), the Rescue Disk will ask what you want to restore (point to HD) then will ask where Image is located (if your HD failed, hopfully your image was on an external HD) then proceed. It's really pretty simple.
