Microsoft has released a new Windows 7 Update, KB2541014. The knowledge base article can be viewed here.
I installed the update on two Windows 7 machines without issue.
It seems the update remedies problems involving hibernation and the inability for Win7 to create a memory dump file upon a BSOD.

2011-05-25 05:10I also checked out the info then installed this update. I do not use hibernate, but do occ. check the mini dumps for error messages. No ill effects since the upgrade.
