What file is on the Desktop?

Is there a way to discover the specific long file name of an image being displayed on the desktop? I use Win 7 Pro 32 bit and am just using the native Win 7 app for desktop slide shows. Thanks

I do not have an answer but do want to clarify, you are talking about the desktop wallpaper image name, correct?

The location of the images is \Windows\Web\Wallpaper\

If you navigate to that folder in Windows Explorer, when you click on a subfolder the image files will show as thumbnails with their names displayed underneath.
Create a fresh drive image before making system changes, in case you need to start over!

Some desktop wallpaper changes (such as SecondNature, http://www.secondnaturecd.com/) have an option to display the name of the file.
