    Spooler Subsystem App

    This might be in the wrong place, but, can someone explain what this and why it keeps popping up on my screen. do you allow it or block it. I have read a bit about it.
    I do not have a printer connected, Thanks in advance, David.

    Is there an associated message?

    What operating system are you running?

    Are connected to a network printer?

    Joe, it wants to connect to the internet, Internet Explorer if that is what you mean I am using Firefox and have 2 options Allow this to do it or Block it, W7, no to the network printer. It comes up at least once a day, I am not a heavy user of the computer

    The spooler is start automatically when Windows starts. It appears from Print Spooler Service that the spooler service automatically attempts to open a port.

    Joe, after reading the print spooler thing, I assume it is is safe and do what is recommended by it, thanks David
