consolidating multiple data ranges by using PivotTables

    Hi,

Apart from using the PivotTable and PivotChart Wizard, is there any other method to consolidate multiple data ranges by using PivotTables?

Ie, create a pivottable with multiple data source (without using PivotTable and PivotChart Wizard)

    thanks

You can do it with VBA code. If you record a macro while doing it with the wizard, you can see what the code required is. Then it can be modified, generalized or whatever you need.

MS MVP Debra Dagliesh on her website at http://www.contextures.com/xlPivot08.html discusses consolidation, its limitations and some alternatives.
