Address book is now a folder...very stange

I had to run scanpst on my 850 MB pst file to fix some errors. Everything is fine but the repair created a new folder called "Lost & Found". Inside this folder is a sub folder called "Recovered Folder 8142". All my contacts are in this folder. I do not have a contacts folder anymore.

Since this is a regular folder, the views are not like the address book with the alphabetical tabs on the right. Any idea how this can be fixed?

I guess I need to export this folder and then import it as an address book but it does not work. Appreciate any suggestions.

You may want to have Outlook create a new clean PST and drag your recovered content into it. There's probably a way to create a Contacts folder without doing that, but I think it's safer to use a clean PST.
