Can import PDF files into PowerPoint? (Powerpoint 2000)

Ahh it's been a frustrating night and I feel like a dimwit! Is there a way to import Acrobat Reader files into Powerpoint? I've tried saving it when hit Print and save as a prn file. That didn't work. Thanks for letting me pick on your brains! <img src=/S/hairout.gif border=0 alt=hairout width=31 height=23>

You cannot directly inport PDF into PowerPoint. You need a product such as Freehand or Illustrator to read PDF's directly, but you can use the Text Select Tool and/or the Graphics Select Tool in Acrobat Reader to copy a portion of the pdf file and paste it into PowerPoint. Hope this helps! --Sam

While you're at it, you might as well convert the image in Illustrator to a more MS friendly format.

    Open PDF in Illustrator
    Save as .tif

Don't have Illustrator....Use a different graphic editor... no other graphic editor...oh oh...
You could try a screen shot.
