Word Forms that work on a PC and a Mac

Is it possible to create a Word form on a PC (Word 2007) that will work as a form on a Mac (Word 2008). I have created a Word 2007 form that works well on a PC but if you try to use in on a Mac it opens but that is it. Does not allow form entry.

Any suggestions on how to make a form that will work on both platforms?

    Thanks.

It might break your form, but you have tried saving in Word 97-2003 (DOC) format?

I don't have a mac to test on so this suggestion may or may not be relevant.

Did you use the legacy form fields or the new 'improved' content controls that Word 2007 has?
I suspect you need to use the legacy form fields if Word 2008 is having a problem with the content.
