    Blocking Apple Startup Apps

Every time I update/access Quicktime, Itunes, RealPlayer, etc., my startup folder has new entries added that I don't want. How can I block these apps from adding stuff to my Startup that I don't want? Not updating/accessing these progarms isn't an option. Deleting them over & over is getting ridiculous.

I would look through the offending apps folders for an options to start with Windows. Quite often these type apps have such an option somewhere withing the various settings. Since I do not use any of these 3 I can't give you exactly where to look. Check if they are included in your start up with What's In Startup. This is an excellent very easy to use app that helps remove unwanted startup items. You have to scroll down quite a ways to find the download link.
