    Two Win7 laptops won't talk

I have a Win7 64-bit Laptop and a Win7 Starter Edition Netbook connected to the same wireless network. (They're named "Laptop" and "Netbook".) They can both access the internet but can't communicate with each other.
Each one can "see" the other in the left-hand Explorer panel but each generates the same "Network path not found" error when I try to gain access.
I tried using a Homegroup but it wouldn't connect them either.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

I would check the sharing settings. Right click on the network icon in the task bar and open The Network and Sharing Center. There is a link to the left tp Change Advanced Sharing Settings. You can also right click on the folders you wish to share and choose what PC's to share them with on the network.

MS has instructions to properly set up Homegroups in Win 7.
