There was an article in the Woody's Windows Watch this past week about backing up DUN settings. It says on Windows 95 you're supposed to be able to copy each dial up by dagging to another folder and that it will make a copy with extension .dun.
When I try this it says you can't copy and would you like to make a shortcut. I have also tried right clicking and selecting copy. However when you go to paste, the paste option is not available.
I have been wanting to backup my DUN settings so I don't have to recreate them all when I finally get a new computer. Does anyone know if this is possible like the article said or is not really available with windows 95 even though the article said it was? I believe I have the original version of windows 95 (the a version). Could it be that it's only available with the b version that came out later?
