    Exclamation 'Hidden' profile

    Hi

I was looking under the c:<path> user profiles

And chose some option to make it hidden

And now my current profile is invisible

The files/folders are all there, I just can't see them

Even the stuff on my Desktop, it's there but I can't see it

How can I restore this profile back to normal?

    Thanks.

The profile has become Hidden everywhere, even if you open Explorer, no more Desktop!

The attached screenshot shows the folder when I choose: Properties -> Previous Versions

You can see the Restore button is greyed out

How can I make the button usable & hence restore the profile?

    Thanks

Check if either of the methods shown in Windows Seven Forums may help. Otherwise perhaps restoring to a point before the "mistake" may fix your problem.

    Hi Ben,
Go to folder options from control panel, set as my image, then remove tick from the folders you changed to un hide them.
