    Problem installing Quicktime

I was running Quicktime 7.6.5 and went to update it. I couldn't install the new version. I got a message: "This application has failed to start because AppleVersions.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I uninstalled Quicktime and tried to re-install it and got that message. Also, iTunes will not run. The message there is "1734: iTunes.exe - Unable to locate component. This application failed to start because CoreVideo.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." A second message said" This application has failed to start because CoreAudioToolbox.dll was not found." I have not tried to reinstall iTunes yet. I'm worried about loosing all my songs and playlists etc.

Just download & install the latest version of iTunes here:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

and download the latest version of Quicktime here:
    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

on the Quicktime download page, you can select the Quicktime + iTunes download combo pack
