    Wrapping text around a graphic

The attached is a sample web page and graphic. I want the graphic in the upper left corner, and the text to go along and wrap around. I cannot get the darn text to start at the picture top. It starts down near the bottom.

    How can I fix this?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

    Hi Chuck,
Your attached file is not very easily understood. Re start what your trying to do, press 'Print Scr' on the keyboard, open 'Paint' > Paste > File > Save as JPEG. Now post your image. My pdf might help.

I took the liberty of changing your doc and adding a stylesheet. You really should use css, preferably in a linked stylesheet file, instead of specifying your formatting with the HTML.

Rui, I'll take a look at the zip -- I appreciate the help. I'm not real conversant with style sheets, but then, why not?

All I did was get the formating to the css, add a paragraph to the text and floated the image. All things that are easy to do with css and you can change it whenever you feel like it, without having to change the HTML. You can do a lot of stuff with css that you can't do any other way, so it does pay to learn css, if you are going to create web apps.

Guys, I just realized that not only was I not clear, I might even be in the wrong place! This was and is a Live Writer issue / question. Looks like typical html to me, but then maybe it's not. If I am in the wrong forum, I apologize and Lemme know where to move it to.

Either way, here's the page in preview and source code. I'm missing something in that the text starts at the bottom of the image.

    Chuck,
If you need to edit an image before posting, save as JPEG not PNG.

What is Live Writer? Here's the general principle:

    Code:
    <p><a href="link"><img src="path" style="float:left"></a>Your text goes here.</p>
This is a useful (slightly advanced) article on floats in HTML: http://www.complexspiral.com/publica...aining-floats/

Got it RR, thanks. Joe Live Writer is Microsoft's "Windows LIve" "suite." It's for blogging.
