    WildCard Search Word 2010

    Hi all

    .MatchWildcards = True
    ' .text = "[A-Z]{3,}"

    Above works but I now want to find all mixes of (UPPERCASE) & (Upper/Lowercase) in parenthesis (AAA) or (Apple No 1)

    .MatchWildcards = True
    .text = "???????{3,}"

    Many thanks for any assistance.

    Jen

    You want to find an open parenthesis, then anything, then a close parenthesis? How about:

    Code:
    \(*\)
    (Because a parenthesis is a special character in the construction of wildcard searches, you need to use a backslash before it when you want to actually search for one.)
