    Word 2007 Bibliography files

I have only recently discovered Word 2007's abilities regarding the creation of biographies. With the use of Source Manager (a GREAT feature!) I have entered a number of books / articles into the Master list. So far so good.

I now need to transfer this Master list to my laptop. Where do I find the files I need to copy and transfer to the laptop. Please tell me it can be done.

Is there a website I can learn more about this feature in Word? I love it!!

I think you mean bibliographies. We have had a few threads asking questions about this feature, but not many answers, so it might be unfamiliar to many.

Of course you are right - the word is bibliographies. My mistake. Second language - sorry. Have been talking a lot about (auto)biografies with friends lately. I guess the word stuck.

I realise this is a specialised feature in Word, but I hope there are experts out there.

This webpage gives you some background info that might help locate the file where bibliography libraries are stored
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...ffice.12).aspx

In short the default source for bibliographies is in %appdata%\Microsoft\Bibliography\sources.xml

You can copy this file to another machine and you might also use the Source Manager dialog to change to a different set of bibliographies. This dialog is opened by using the References>Manage Sources button.
