Hyperlink buttons won't work anymore (Office 2000 SR-1)

I had hyperlinks on command buttons on Access forms that worked fine this afternoon. Suddenly everytime I click a hyperlink, whether in Access or Word, I get error message "Unable to open http: etc. Cannot locate the Internet server or proxy server." I cannot imagine what I did to get this glitch. I tried the repair function to no avail. I have no problem getting to Web from Access when I click on help toolbar button, "Office on the Web."

    Please help. Thanks!

Leif, many many thanks -- after I uninstalled Norton's Utlilities, whose Nregedit refused to allow me to add the necessary key, I was able to fix it in Windows Registry so all works as it did before the glitch.

    I am very grateful for your excellent and prompt service. <img src=/S/bravo.gif border=0 alt=bravo width=16 height=30>
