    Protect PPT/PPS files? (2000 SR1)

    Hi,

Is there any way of protecting one's PPT files.
The PPS format may fool novices, but there must be a better way surely ?!

    Ta,

    Protect what from whom?

May I assume a completed file your 'giving' to someone else?

I don't want anyone taking my slides & copying them for their own work.
Protect my PPT/PPS files from any recipient.
They should only be able to play my show & not enter it to access the slides.

    Thanks

I think you are out of luck - I am not aware of any method to protect. Unless you convert to a PDF?

    Cheers

There's nothing built in to Ppt for locking the file - more's the pity.

However, there are utilities available from third parties that will do the trick. One such is PrezGuard from http://www.aladat.com/
