Selecting page by page using SHIFT (97 /SR-2)

Is it possible to select text a page at a time by using the key combination: SHIFT - CTRL - PAGE DOWN.

I use CTRL - PAGE DOWN regularly for moving through the document but when I hold SHIFT down as well no text is selected and the cursor does not move to the next page. (I don't have any macros or anything assigned to this key combination.)

Hi Mike,

You can turn on "Extend Mode" with F8 before using Ctrl-PageDown.
Then, the selection extends (instead of moves) when you use Ctrl-PageDown/Ctrl-PageUp.
Hit Esc to exit "Extend Mode".

If you want to use the keyboard shortcut Shift-Ctrl-PageDown instead, record the procedure in a macro (F8, Ctrl-PageDown, Esc), and use "Tools, Customize > Keyboard..., Category: Macros" to assign the shortcut Shift-Ctrl-PageDown.

When you are done, write to that this should be the default behaviour for Shift-Ctrl-PageUp and Shift-Ctrl-PageDown.
