    Win 7 Sp1 or IE9

    Hello I'am debating on what is the correct way if any to install SP 1 first than IE9 all together both are waiting in my Windows Updates Downloads , I think it is better to use which I have a DVD Windows 7 SP1 disc , then install IE9 ?? Concerned Thank-You

    I don't think the order matters. Backup your system, if you can, then start with your own choice. IE 9 showed up first, so that was installed first for those that choose to install it immediately (that was my case). SP1 came later and I haven't even installed it in all my systems.

    I also do not believe the order matters. I would also definitely make an Up To Date image first, then download both files from MS. With big updates like these I always download the files, then disconnect from the internet, disable all apps including all security apps, then install one at a time. Once the first is working properly, make another image and run for a day or two to see if any problems crop up, then repeat the whole process for the other update. I would never install 2 updates of this magnitude at the same time before seeing if the first causes problems before installing the second.
