Install Find Fast (Word 2000 SR1)

Does anyone know how to install just Find Fast on to a pre-installed Word 2000. I have the MS-Works suite which includes Word 2000 SRI and I don't want to go back to a fresh installation of Word from the get go.

    Regards

Why would you want to install "Find Fast" ?
This is one thing that should be turned off just after the install of of Office is completed. It is one of the worst mistakes that Microsoft ever made. The little tool will take over and slow down your machine. Almost anyone, including Woody, that has pulbished a book about Office has said to turn it off.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

If you read several posts here with respect to Find Fast, you'll probably decide you don't want this "feature." However, if your bent on activating it got to Control Panel / Add Remove Programs and Double Click MS Office 2000. Click the Add/Remove option and it's found under Office Tools on the list.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the comments. I've put this idea on hold on one machine. I have Find Fast on another and it seems, so far, not to have messed things up. That said, it's not a knowledge management tool that gives a good initial impression, aside from costing squat. Since the reward does not seem great, the risk is on hold.

I'll research the old posts further.
