    Year planner (97)

I am trying to create a 52 week year planner and each year I want to start the week one at the first Monday and for all the dates to be filled out automatically Monday to Friday only ending on the last Friday in week 52. I have tried to make a macro up to do this but not having much success, looking for direction.

Just my thoughts on the subject, but a macro seems to be too much work, when a template could do the same.

if you use someting like =B1+CHOOSE(WEEKDAY(B1,3),6,5,4,3,2,1,0) where B1 is the starting day (1 January) the result will be the first Monday of the year.
You could then have all the subsequent dates refer to this derived date.

    Hi Stevel,

Given kieran's thoughts, I would agree that VBA is not necessary.

I was considering that you probably want 5 columns Mon to Fri for each of the 52 weeks (rows), once you work out the date of the first Monday of the year, the rest of the dates are increments of 7 down Monday's column, and 1 across each row, or something similar. Then you would just format the dates to how you want them to appear and make each cell as large as required.

If you need any further help it might be easiest if you put up a sample.

    Hope this helps
