    Back - Forward

Just curious, I have had to send a keyboard back and using a different one and was wondering is there a way to go back or forward a page on keyboard that does not have Back/Forward buttons/keys. I have windows 7 OS.

    NBB,

I'm assuming here that you mean the PageUp/PageDn keys? If so, does your keyboard have a number keypad? If it does just turn off NumLock and those keys should be there on the 9-PgUp and 3-PgDn. If not, you can control click on the empty part of the ScrollBar, above the silder for PageUp and below the slider for PageDn. Hope this helps.

    NBB,

Ah, on the FANCY keyboards! Of course my main Dell Multi-Media keyboard has all those keys but this old geezer hardly ever uses them as I developed my typing skills on an Olivetti {if you have to ask you're too young to understand}.

As I approach rapidly 3/4s of a century I do remember all, even the Palmer method writing skills taught in grade school. Of course writing will soon be like the Olivetti fading into the sunset.

    For most browsers:
Previous page (back) - backspace key
Next page (forward) - alt right arrow

You can also program some mouse buttons for forward and back. I programmed my Logitech mouse so that pushing the mouse wheel to the left is a browser back operation and pushing it right is a browser forward operation.

For other shortcuts, do a google search on "ie9 (or whatever your browser is) shortcut keys".

One very useful key I found in Firefox is ctrl shift t to restore an accidentally closed tab.

I had the feeling that somebody would have a keyboard shortcut, That is so cool Windows Secrets Lounge strikes again.

    For most browsers:
Previous page (back) - backspace key
Next page (forward) - alt right arrow, alt left arrow also does previous page (back)
