    Alt-Key Shortcuts for Excel Macros?

When creating a macro in Excel, it allows you to set a shortcut key combination for it. But by default they seem to be limited to Ctrl-key combinations.

I'd like to set some macros to letters that would overwrite normal Ctrl-key combinations like Ctrl-C, Ctrl-X, etc. In other applications, I've been assigning Alt-key shortcuts to them to avoid just those conflicts.

Is there any way to do that in Excel?
