    Folder Sharing with XP

    Hi all,

I have a windows 7 machine an a XP machine, I have shared a folder on windows 7 machine with permissions for everyone to be able to read/write. I managed to map the folder from the XP machine but when I try to copy files into the shared (Windows 7 ) machine the attached error appears and it won't let me do it, any ideas?

    Many thanks

There are many threads available at Share between Windows 7 & XP. See the first from How To Geek - Share files and printers between Windows 7 & XP as a starting point.
