    Outlook 2010 Navigation pane issues

After upgrading from 2007 to 2010 the folders in the navigation pane (Inbox, Drafts, etc.) are displayed differently. Inbox, Drafts, Sent Items, and Delete Items appear at the top followed by a blank space, followed by Outbox, Junk E-mail, Saved Messages, and other folders I created over the years. Is there a way to re-organize the order of the folders and to elimiate the wasted blank space between the groups?

Sadly not, this seems to be a 'feature' of Outlook 2010. I've searched around myself for this and there seem to be quite a few irate microsoft users fuming about the re-ordering of the folders. Sorry I can't be more help.
