I see where MS will not be supporting SP-1 much longer. Have any of you heard as to when support for SP-2 will be cut off? Thanks.

Vista SP-1 went out of support 7/12/2011. The support date for Vista SP-2 depends on the SKU.

How about SP-3? Thanks for the info., Joe.
I have not seen any indication there will be an SP3. I would consider it possible but very unlikely there will be any more service packs for Vista. The only reason I'd consider it possible is that Microsoft may wish to release one before the product exits mainstream support in April 2012. Microsoft may also take the same track as with Windows 2000 and release an update rollup instead of a service pack.

although now it's already April 2012. it looks like Vista SP3 may not happen at all and judging by the Vista product support lifecycle page I looked at, extended support for ALL editions of Vista will end April 11, 2017.
