Unusual table cell alignment - Word 2003

The attached document is a piece of a long two-column table I'm using on a web site. Each cell in the first column contains a bullet character, linked to a web site.

I want the bullets to be right aligned in their cells, and to be perfectly aligned, flush against the right cell border.

They aren't aligned that way now, and I haven't been able to discover why. I have some suspicions, which are detailed in the document.

I need help from somebody who is expert with Word 2003 tables.

    Lou,

I think I've fixed it in the attached. What I did was select one of the bullets which seemed to be aligned correctly {after selecting them and applying Right-Align}. Then I double clicked the Format Painter {paint brush} and then dragged across all the bullets in the column. They are now all identically aligned and formatted. Hopefully, this is where you want them.

Very nice! (Why didn't *I* think of that?)

    Thanks!

UPDATE: I went through my whole 500-row table and used the format painter technique on the entire first column. Every line is now well-behaved. Thanks again!

    Interesting discovery...

When I use the format painter to copy the format of one of these cells into a lot of others, it takes care of the paragraph mark and the right alignment, but it seems to remove the color of the bullet. The color of the cell that I "copied" to the format painter doesn't change.

When I copy that cell to the format painter a second time, then paint the cells I changed the first time, their color is restored.

    Quirky, eh?
