Edit/Fill/Justify loses word separations (Excel 2000)

I like to type a long note at the bottom of a table in Excel, mark a range over which I want the note to wrap and use Edit/Fill/Justify to do the text wrapping over the range. The problem I'm having is that Excel doesn't insert a blank between the entries in consecutive lines, so the last word on line n and the first word on line n+1 end up unseparated (e.g. if line 1 ends "and that's" and line 2 starts "the way it is" then in the wrapped text you get "and that'sthe way it is." Is there any easy way to ask Excel to wrap so that it separates the words?

Have you tried to use Chr(13) or Chr(10) in your text string? I don't know how you can find the position of insertion, but if you would contact Bob Umlas, I think he may have a solution for you in how to make the row height fit the string you rae working with.

Let me know if you have any success, and if you still need any additional help.

I think the only way is to insert all the text initiallly into one cell, and then justify that over the nimber of cells required.

    You might consider using textboxes.
