Firefox with the right add-ins is my choice. (Flashblock, adblock, noscript etc.)

    cheers, Paul

I agree Rui, I have just IE9 installed now. I gave up on FF at somewhere around V3 although by now it may be up to V15 or V16, who can keep track of it. Same for Chrome. These version releases every couple weeks just boggles my mind. Sorry, but I can't keep of with these any more. I have more productive things to do like "playing" with my OS.

I was not stating a personal preference. The article describes a study that concludes that IE 9 is the most effective browser in what concerns blocking malicious URLs, especially in situations where the websites trick the users to install rogue software, which is one of the most common malware infection mechanisms these days. Just wanted to point that out believing, as I do, that facts are what should drive our security choices.

IE 9 is my preferred browser, but the post was really not about that.

    Ted:
I hadn't noticed the promotion 'till Paul pointed it out.
    Congratulations.
