How to print just a portion of the Newsletter?

I would like to print out Susan Bradley's Patch Watch column so I can highlight parts I want/need to research futher, but I am unable to do this. I can send one link at a time to my MS Word, but unable to then remove the extra stuff and paste in the next link..... Don't want a mountain of paper by printing the whole newsletter....

Can you highlight the portion you wish to print (place cursor at start, hold left mouse button and drag cursor to end of test), then choose print selection in the print options (Ctrl+P)

Attached is this week's Patch Watch. Is this what you are looking for?
It was done by Copy and Paste to MS Word from Susan's article.

Attachment removed as it is part of the paid portion of the newsletter.

Isn't the patch watch section for paid members only?

Surely including it on here is inadvisable to say the least.

That is what I finally did..... I wanted the text but not the graphics, so I copied each paragraph of text and pasted it into Word, printed it. Mission accomplished. It was the graphics that were screwing it up........ Thanks Ted. You always have sound advice.

I have a somewhat similar problem, but! I wanted to print out Freds' win-7 reformat article. When I printied it out, the font was so small that it was unreadable.
I did a copy/paste into word and increased the font thinking that that would work, but all I got were the pictures, and links. No Text!. Is there something I am missing?
    Thanks John

    T8ntlikly,

I just tried this w/Word 2003 and had no problems. Granted the text comes in at 10pt Arial. I reformatted it to Century Schoolbook 11pt w/o a problem. Of course some of the graphics need to be edited to set proper positioning/text wrapping but otherwise all is OK. YMMV

Update: Just spent the last HOUR {you know I'm Retired!} formatting this article in Word 2003. Finally got everything lined up the way I like it and it's only 7 pages long and readable with an 11pt font.

Provided you are properly subscribed and logged in, the Windows Secrets web site HOME Tab will list the RECENT articles in its own category, right at the top of articles listed. Choose any article for which you are allowed to see the content, and it will display as a stand-alone article.

Then, if you are like me, you prefer to download and save web pages as PDF Files, and edit and print from your favorite PDF Reader/Editor program. Each browser seems to have its own PDF download add-on, so this choice depends on your browser and your default PDF reader. In Firefox, Foxit Reader has a plug-in which works well. Nitro PDF is has a nice plug-in for Firefox and one for IE. Chrome users might need to disable Chrome's built-in PDF display plug-in, so that Nitro or Foxit would take over PDF display and download functions.

I get nice results with PDF downloads, so this is my preferred method.
