    mu/micron symbol in Word 2000 (Word 2000)

I got a request from a user as to how to insert the mu/micron symbol into Word and am not having an luck finding it. Any ideas???

By the way, I haven't been here in so long that my username was eliminated, I used to be nehmar. Work has been terribly crazy for quite a while. :-( I am glad to be back!

Try holding down the alt key then typing 0181 on the keypad. This should work for almost any MS, and many other, products.

    Hi Mary/nehmar,

On U.S.-International, Canadian and some European keyboards, you can also type it as AltGr-M. which is pretty easy to memorize.
