    Word 2007 Form Freezes

I have a form in Word 2007 that has newer content controls and legacy check boxes. After selecting a check box, users can't type in content controls; the keys don't insert any text and Delete or Backspace don't work either.

Any ideas how to correct this?

My mistake. Apparently you shouldn't mix old and new controls in the same form.

You can use both Content Controls and Formfields in a document. However, in a document that has both Content Controls and Formfields, once you tab out of a Formfield and land in a Content Control, any further tabbing will only take you to the next Content Control - to get into a Formfield again, you'll have to click on it.
