    Forwarded email addresses in Thunderbird

I am just getting started with Thunderbird 5.0 and all in all it looks like a good Outlook substitute for me. One problem I have come across is that of removing all previous addresses from messages I wish to forward. I have found no way to do that with Thunderbird and I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. I hate to forward a message that came to me with long strings of email addresses unless I can remove them first. It is untidy, insecure and a privacy issue as well. Has anyone else found a good answer to this problem? I have tried everything and nothing I have found is satisfactory.

I have asked this same question before and have never found a solution to removing forwarded addresses...
