Making passwords accept only keypad numbers

Does anyone know of a way to make passwords accept only numbers entered via keypad, as opposed to the standard "typewriter" numbers? Or conversely, to reject numbers entered via the keypad? Is this even possible? It seems like it would be just one more security tweak if it could be done.

I can't see how you could do this unless you could tap into the printer driver which recognises the keyboard scan codes. And then there would be a good chance that your code would look like a virus!

Perhaps look into those "on-screen keyboards" that I used to joke were only suitable for Managers who could deal with a mouse but couldn't cope with the complexity of a real keyboard...!

It is possible by writing a routine to capture key-codes {each key has it's own} and then rejecting the ones you don't want.
