    Outlook Connector store location?

When I am using Outlook Connector to access a hotmail account in Outlook 2003, where are the emails stored locally? I do not see a separate .pst file, so are they stored in my main .pst file? In the folder list, the hotmail is not a subsection under Personal Folders, which seems to imply they would not be in the Personal Folders .pst file.

    Thanks

By default, your hotmail is in a file named YOUR_Account_hotmail.ost in the same folder as your .pst file(s).

    OK thanks.
I've moved my .pst files to the D: drive, but following your suggestion I see the .ost is in the default location C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outloo k

Is there a way to move it?

    Thanks

According to Move an offline Outlook Data File you can not move it. Also, see Change location of data files.

OK thanks Joe. That clears things up for me. I can live without having it on D: since it is just a cache of the info that is stored online anyway, and can be recreated automatically if needed ie after an image restoration.
