    What's this plusone.google url?

While browsing, I've been getting a plusone.google url. I've only caught this at msnbc.com. When I'm done reading an article, I click on the back button to get back to the main page. When it started taking me 2 or 3 clicks to get back, I checked the history by r-clicking the back button and saw the plusone url. What is this? Is this a security compromise? plusone.png

How did that code get there? I didn't install or sign in to Google. Gotta find a way to get rid of it, if I can.

To get rid of it you should be able to delete your TIF including Surfing History and Cookies. There must have been something on a page you visited that did this.

    infael,

Is Google your default search provider? The plus 1 icon appears on all your results in a search if Google is your default search engine or you searched from Google. It is like the Facebook LIKE button. It's something I'd avoid clicking it until there is more information on the security aspects of it like what information it shares with others.
