Possible to have text overlap blank section of a table graphic?(Word 2010)

I have a graphic inside a table in column one of a three column page. The upper-right of the graphic is blank, so I would like the headline text in column two to overlap this space. To the viewers eye, it will look fine.

Is there a setting to allow the table to be "behind" the text in such a way that text can overlap it?

    Thanks.

    Ben,

You can place the table in a text box then format the textbox to have no border and layout of behind text. Then w/paragraph spacing you can place your text where you want it in relation to the textbox.
There may be an easier way in 2010 but I'm working from 2003.

Or, you can put your text in a text box and set the text box to be in front of your table in the area you want. Again, without borders.
