    Auto Save

I noticed that when replying on the forums in the lower right side I see a little popup saying 'AUTO SAVED'...

    Autosaved to where?
    Autosaved for what?

Why, I see no problem in asking again?
Although searching before posting is probably recommended, I confess I don't do it very often. Also the search results are sometimes ineffective.

I didn't mean it the way you interpreted my reply...
I meant that the post you linked to was confusing..

    No big deal...

Ok, here is the quick summary. As you type a reply, the forum software will auto-save that reply. You will get the notice you have already seen, when the forum software does it.

All you need to do to access your auto-saved reply for a given topic, is to browse back to the topic in question and you will get a button that allows you to restore the autosaved contents:

    Autosave.JPG
Press the button, and the contents will be restored.

    Hope it's more clear now.

Just refresh the page after you have seen the auto-saved notice. You won't see the restore button until you revisit the page.

Auto-save is a VERY good feature. I belong to a group using different software and if you accidently click out of your message to look at something else, what you have already written is gone forever and you have to re-write it. Cheers for auto-save.
