    detect Excel version

    Hello All,

Is it possible to detect the current running Excel version from VBA?
I have a applictaion in Excel 2003 that will not work in Excel 2007 (because of home made menus and toolbars). And I want to show a message if a user opens the Excel document in the wrong version.

    Greetings,

Yes - Application.Version returns the version number (12 for Excel 2007 for example)
