Explorer/View/Extra Large Icons - Larger size required

As in the title, I would like to be able to view folder contents at a larger size, probably around twice the size of of the current largest Windows7 default of "Extra Large Icons"..I would like an "Extra-Extra large Icons" option.

    Can this be done?

    Many thanks!

If you want to do this for everything on the PC go to Control Panel | Appearance and Personalization | Display. There you'll be able to adjust the text size & the DPI. Also, on that page note the Magnifier tool which can be used as needed and then turned off.

In addition to changing the DPI, you can do a lot of customization including icon size in the following:
    Right click on desktop
    select personalize
    select window color custom
    select advanced appearance settings
you can click on some of the items displayed or go to the "Item" drop down box and select the item of your choice where you can increase or decrease the size in increments. If you increase icon size, you may also need to increase icon spacing.

This is curently what I have in folder view.

I'd really like an extra choice on the view menu, perhaps called "Massive Icons" and then the icons (thumbnails) to be twice the width and height of the current "Extra Large Icons" seen above. I dont want to be changing screen res, DPI or icon spacing etc (although I do appreciate your offers of help above)

So when selecting the new "Massive Icons" choice it would look similar to this below..

    Can this be done?

    Many thanks!

Sorry, I can't find any settings or programs to do what you wish. Maybe someone else can jump in with an idea.
