    Software to recover corrupted pictures

I am looking for software to recover pictures from a corrupted memory card. The FAT is what is corrupted and I lost 200 out of 700 vacation photographs. I can see the files but nothing can copy the or open them.

I did a Google search and there are a ton of free and commercial packages out there. I tried a couple but the problem is my photographs are in RAW format rather than JPG. The commercial packages I tried claim to let you recover them but cannot preview RAW files so I cannot tell if it really recovered them in a usable format. None of the free ones I tried worked with RAW files.

The camera is a Canon Rebel with a mini-SD card. Any suggestions?

    Ronny,

I'd suggest you give Recuva a shot at your memory card.

I have used PhotoRescue with great success. They also support raw formats. Actually, the single time I used it, was to recover photos from my Canon 400D and I only shoot RAW.
