    Number of checkboxes messes format

    Dear Loungers,

I have spreadsheet that is a form to be completed by users. Most of the formatting and function can be achieved by using cell locking and protection. There are a number of items that are basically yes/no fields so I thought we would use a check box for these. The problem is that as soon as I get to 21 of these it does something to the sheet format what it does is remove a bottom border of several cells above all the check boxes. I can't find a way round it, I have tries using a check box from the Form list and form the Active X list, it happen with both. I can't establish a pattern which governs the lack of bottom border.

I can't reproduce an image for you bacause it only happens on printing and on any printer. I attach a version of the sheet, what happens is in section3 User name and Email rows have the start of a line and the end - but looks ok on screen, you only see it on print.

Has anyone ever seen something live this before?

    thank you............................liz

Not sure exactly why you have the problem with printing, but I had the same problem with some of the lines. I was able to fix it by chaning the bottom border to a solid line rather than dashed line. If you want you can lighten the color instead of dashing the line to make them show up less. The one you picked showed up as a solid line anyway...
