    combo box output value

    Hey all,

In the workbook I am currently designing, I have two worksheets. The first draws information from the second using the LOOKUP function. I've set up a combo box to list all the lookup values, however when I select one, the combo box outputs the numerical range. I'd like it to output the value I selected.

For example, If my combo box is:
    A
    B
    C

And if I select 'B', I would like it to output 'B' as opposed to 2.

    Any ideas? help?

    Cheers,
    Justin

The combobox displays the value directly, you can hide the "index value". If you want a cell to have the Output, you can use Index with the list and the index value to display the "Output 'B'"

If you use a Forms combobox, it outputs the index number of the selection. If you use an ActiveX one, it outputs the actual selection value.
