Win op 98 installed on compressed drive

I am helping someone install Window 98 on an older computer that has a compressed drive. Windows 98 was install without the knowledge the boot drive was compressed. I need to know how I can reformat the drive to be free of the compressed drive.

I tried Dos format and deleting the Host drive too. Windows does not allow this.

Use FDISK to delete and then recreate the partitions.

You can then proceed with a normal install.
