Problem with Outlook 2007 and Gmail

    Hi,
Since I have integrated Gmail into my accounts with Outlook 2007, I now receive Gmail mail in duplicate.

I have two different addresses in Outlook with Gmail, but when one on them is used, the same sent email comes back in duplicate.
Can you see a reason for this and could you suggest a solution to this problem?
Thank you, I love this forum, a lot.

    Jean-Pierre.-

The most obvious things to consider first would be:

    1. If you have two accounts in Outlook, are the details actually different for each?

    2. Have you configured the gmail account to forward email messages to another account, also read by Outlook, perhaps?

    Thanks for your help and:

1.- Yes, I have my Broadband ISP account and I have two Gmail accounts but each with a different name.

    2.- No, I haven't.

How exactly are you testing this? Sending email to yourself (one of the gmail accounts) and then you receive it twice in Outlook?
This happens only when you send messages to yourself?

It happened in any cases either by sending an email to myself, or someone sending me an email to one of those Gmail address.

I visited the forum you suggested; there are no solution to be found there, many have to problem, so far none have found the answer. I have to either suppress Gmail or bear the duplicated emails.
Thanks to all for helping with this.

This may have several causes. Let's see if this screen may be of help:

    gmail.JPG

I don't use gmail much, so I just forward my email to another account and delete it.
Anyway, what this scren is good for is to show that you should have only one of these 3 options enabled: either forwarding or POP or IMAP. What is the one you are using?

Sorry for the delay brought in replying: I have checked them all, they are all POP3

Hmmmm... No forwarding in gmail, no rules in Outlook? I am running out of ideas, sorry.
