Need to repair/reload "over the top" win7 home prem (64)

Fred has excellent article --- if one can get to the old win 7 OS and remove the SP1 update BUT (in this case) we need the same over the top nondestructive install like we use to do in XP because (this is why we need it in the begging) ---- we can't boot up the win 7 OS !!!

    Here's Fred article:

Have you tried a repair install to see whether it will let you boot afterward. If so you could download Win 7 with SP1 iso file, burn to a disk and use this file, with your original key to follow Fred's procedure.

If the repair install does not work, use the PC you used to post this thread to download the file and burn to disk. A Win 7 installation disk contains the startup files necessary to boot.
