    Mystery Page (Word 97 SR2)

The first page of this report is a title page. It has a footer. The page ends with a Section Break:Next Page and then the next page is the Table of Contents. The page numbering has been changed to 'i' for that page. The thing is, this page shows that it is page 3/53. When I cursor through the document no page 2 shows, but it prints a blank page for page 2. Any suggestions? Also, I have Word 2002 too. I opened it in this version and it STILL does it.

    Hi, Tracy --

Check at File / Page Setup / Layout tab. It sounds as if you have Different Odd and Even turned on. That forces each section to begin on an odd page.

Close! That got me looking in the right place anyway!

It was actually 'mirror margins' that was the culprit! Thank you!
